ENELOOP LIMITED EDITIONS
DOWNLOAD THE LIMITED EDITION ENELOOPS HERE:
All 22 Eneloop limited editions ever made.
From the year 2009, Eneloop produced several special editions of Eneloops. These batteries are the same as standard Eneloops but with a unique battery wrapper. Remember, there are no limited editions made of the other types of Eneloops, namely Lite, Plus, or Pro. If you come across anything not listed here, please let me know by sending me a message on the eneloop101 Facebook page or email.
Limited editions are numbered.
Every special edition Eneloop battery is numbered. On the side of each battery, you can see a small square box with a number. For example, when there are 8 unique designs, each battery will be numbered from 1-8. Likewise, if there are only 4 types, you will see 1-4. Keep in mind that these are different from some colored Eneloops being sold in the US, which are named colored Eneloops, and sometimes are even referred to as limited editions but are not.
Easy to match sets of batteries.
Because it’s a bad idea to mix and match batteries, some people got into the habit of adding numbers or other indicators to keep batteries together. And if you have multiple sets of batteries, it’s challenging to keep track of which batteries belong together.
If you mix old and new batteries, you can damage the older batteries because they are likely to discharge much deeper than the newer ones.
But when you use limited-edition Eneloops, you don’t have to do this anymore. You just need to keep the specific colors or designs together. Photographers, in particular, are happy with these limited edition batteries, because they can keep them matched to ensure the best performance.
