Panasonic eneloop charger list
Ordered by product name, and not grouped into categories of smart vs quick chargers. See explanation for more details. The first 9 chargers below are Panasonic BQ-CC01 – BQ-CC10 chargers produced until 2013, from when they started carrying the Eneloop trademark. But to make this website as complete as possible, I`m adding the manuals for as many of these chargers as I could find. The BQ-CC04 does not exist, probably due to the number 4, which is an unlucky number in Japan because it`s related to the word ‘death.’
Scroll down for the other chargers. Sanyo and Panasonic recommend charging Eneloop batteries with these chargers only. I don’t think that is necessary!

This is not an Eneloop, but a Panasonic Evolta branded.
I don`t like the way they coded this charger. BQ-CC20 comes after 11, 17 and 18, (which were sold with Eneloop batteries). So although this one is from 2011 it was already called the BQ-CC20.

What’s the best Eneloop charger?
Since Sanyo introduced Eneloop in 2005 they have put many chargers to the market. And while most of them were available in combination with Eneloop batteries they are not always recommended.
The following list contains the best Eneloop Chargers currently available (and from the past).
Best Eneloop chargers are:
- Sanyo NC-MR58: a specially designed charger with battery check and refresh functionality. A fairly fast charger and international voltage range. Unfortunately mainly available in Japan second-hand. Not in production anymore.
- Sanyo NC-MQR06: also an older charger but liked by many battery enthusiasts back in the day, and is still considered a good second-hand charger.
- Panasonic BQ-CC17: available worldwide. Reviewed by many people. Slow charger, but good and affordable. Note: some people said their AAA batteries didn’t fit well, so make sure this doesn’t apply to your charger, by testing it right away.
- Panasonic BQ-CC55: with a word of caution. See the charger info for a link to reviews. This is recommended with new batteries. It can be tricky using older non-Eneloop batteries with higher internal resistance.
- Panasonic BQ-CC65: This one is the most advanced charger Panasonic has put forth to this date. See the above details for more info.
If you want to have more control over charging your batteries, you should have a look at the Best Smart chargers/analyzers.
